Solution

  • Engineers prepare design to install Bersche-Rolt reinforcement below the surface to increase the load capacity to 40 tonnes.
  • Repair and replace spalled bricks
  • Remove vegetation and repoint
  • Install vertical reinforcement in adjacent retaining walls
  • Repair brickwork
